Hamheungmyeonok in myeongdong has 40 years history.
The best order here is hoenaegmyeon (8,000 won)
Hamheung is the name of area between hamgyeongdo and gangwondo. Very well qualified potatoes are growing here, so they use potato starch to make noodle which is little tougher than normal.
The other important ingredient is flatfish, which sashimi-ed. Noodle and flatfish and hot seasoning of North Korea is the secret of the taste.

My business partners came to Seoul. I wanted to give them some cold and fun because it was Summer. Before having Hoenaengmyeon I looked up on online and found out that some restaurants use yam starch to make noodle. Let's find it out!



They didn't eat the spicy very well. We ordered mulnaengmyeong: cold buckwheat noodles.



The top of noodles were so clean!
