The best restaurant in Myeongdong, Myeongdong gyoja

Myeongdong gyoja, Kalguksu and dumpling restaurant, has been running since middle of 1960's.
The best dish here is Myeongdong kalguksu. 8,000 won.
The soup of Myeongdong kalguksu of Myeongdong gyoja use chicken. The put this chicken in water and soak out for 5 hours. And then season it with solar salt.
The way that chewy noodle is simple. They hurl down noodle dough without mercy. The noodle is flat and adequately thick and narrow so it is very soft. Originally the thickness is 1.6mm left to right is 2.7mm, but they control them depends on the weather.
The interior is like old town hall of Korea.

I was surprised at the first beginning because there were so many people in the waiting line in front of the restaurant. Secondly, I was so surprised again because we could go inside in only 10 minutes! LOL
We ordered myeongdong kalguksu which is the basic but most famous meal in here.
This is dumpling in myeongdong kalguksu of Myeongdonggyoja.
It was out of my expectation that the skin of dumpling is very thin which is like dumpling in wontangmian. MEAT is inside.
The noodle was thin and flat. It made the texture of itself special.
The soup was thick and tasteful.
This is the bowl of steamed rice which basically served for free.
It was little drier than normal.
Gimchi from myeongdonggyoja. I'm not a gimchi expert, but the girl with me said that she like it so I was fine with it too! LOL
Finally, the magical sauce that can go with everything, like rice and noodle.
